if you're talking about the encounter with the phoenix demon, you'll have to explain it to me, I didn't fully understand it. As far I can tell, Yukio is in MAJOR denial about who he is, based on fear. he's driven to be perfect and in full control so that he can keep his brother in check and safe from hatred from the rest of the world. where as Rin is on a path to accept who he is, learn to use his abilities, and thus become more powerful.
