What I'm afraid of tilted is that one of the inactive people that haven't posted yet might be the twins. We need people to get on. That is the one thing that has ended in town lose these past games. I'm not saying it happened yet but if you sign up you be prepared to be invested. Communication is key. Lets start communicating if it through pms or main thread. Lets do this shit!

I'm trying to be optimistic about this, but you got a point. Given, this has just started, but it's not looking too good so far. I just really hope this isn't the thing that kills us this round.

Have we decided if we're voting today or not? I'm kind of torn on the issue. A lot of people haven't talked in the thread, and those people are the ones who are most likely to get voted off and then end up being town. At the same time, I don't want to give the mafia an automatic pass by not voting either...

What do you all think?

this is gonna sound really strange coming from me, but there are 8 of us and 3 of them.. I think unless we feel really strongly, we might wanna skip this day vote...

That's exactly my feelings. There's a HUGE chance that we'll vote for a townie. But at the same time I don't want to give the mafia a "get-out-of-lynch-free" card.

This is one of those roll heavy games that makes it tough no matter what we do especially because every role is important. Put that with people not posting, its not just a free pass its a free win. Im not about that life. Its time for a town win for a change peoples.

The "twin" roles scare me. In previous games they've been "suicide roles". One dies, and the other follows in the next phase. We have to be careful of accidentally lynching them/we need to protect them.

Don't mean to be a grammar Nazi, but I don't understand what you mean by our second sentence. Do you mean you don't think they are suicide roles this round? Why is that? That part of their role has been kept hidden from us in the past. And I do agree about the Doctor role. Word of advice to the player: always protect someone, but try to be sure that player is town. I know in night 1 that will be difficult, but please try to gather some evidence before using the power.

sentence 1: In the past rounds, havent the suicidal sibling roles ALWAYS been described as such? In the role descriptions wouldnt it say that if one dies, the other will too?

sentence 2: I do not believe that the roles lives are co-dependent. Because I believe that it wouldve said so (as I articulated in sentence 1, I believe that information has never been kept from us in the past).

Sorry, it's late. Must've misread your sentence.

The Twin role has only been used twice. Once when you were GM (you explained their deaths in the roles thread). The other time was the MLP round (when their roles were hidden from us completely). That all said, Wassa has kept the general populace in the dark about specifics of roles in the past. Wouldn't be surprising if she did it again. Also, having them both die is the best way for balancing out their advantage of knowing each other in the beginning.

Now I could be wrong. In fact, I hope I am. But we still need to watch out for them.

oh yes! the MLP round (which I had forcibly erased from my memory). I had a lover and he died, thus killing me the following morning.

Yeah, the MLP round was awful (for me at least). I had a high fever the entirety of the game and couldn't think straight. I ignored obvious clues as to who the mafia was. Oh well. Hopefully that won't happen again

I'm not particularly knowledgeable about the Soul Eater universe, but are the twins inherently connected in any way besides being twins? I ask because the group seems to be inclined to think there's a suicide/automatic death type event that'll happen if one of the twins died.

Urgent Update! Calling All townies! Calling All townies!

Even though this is day one we need to act fast if their is a chance for the town to win. The faster we come together the faster we can start making legit ground on finding out whose mafia. 

Now Even though the main thread has been slow, as usual the pms are flying and the alliance is forming. The roles that have joined forces so far are Kid and Tsubaki I am still waiting on some more pms. 

This is not enough! The mafia may be three but they are organized while we are not. As said before the faster we come together the better. If you are a town role pls come forward and the alliance will explain everything. This is no time to be silent.

I will be back with updates as more comes to light.
