Doot doot. Weeeeell, think the way a townie would think. It's Day 1, so a townie knows absolutely nothing except for their own role. As a result, going out to actively protect someone is not something a townie does.

Someone actively sought to protect a certain other person, resulting in you getting lynched. So that makes them....? ;D

Well, I'm a pretty experienced Mafia player so it was VERY obvious to me. We can only hope some of the townies noticed it! (Big benefit to dying early in your first game is that you get to hear my play-by-play analysis of how to play Mafia. Hope you learn a few things from me. ;D)

Well, counting the games I've done in person and the games we've played on the old-old forum (the one that got deleted a while back) about 3 years now? Well, I have to admit there are times that I miss the mystery and paranoia of playing, but I find much more enjoyment in playing "god" and seeing everything from above.

Perhaps, if people get comfortable enough, someone could GM a game and you can see me in action!

Jessica, I'm curious about what you did as well. Because from what the Mafia told me earlier they were originally planning on killing someone else - I hate to say this to you Jess but someone who I think was MUCH more important to the Town right now. If the Mafia tells me you said something suspicious, well then it's possible you might have saved that person's ass. Although, losing your investigation power is a serious serious loss.

You are pretty close. There are 4 right now. Very good job with thinking it out! (Also, Jiro is NOT Mafia. He's a role, and a good one at that)
