Round 1 voting is a terrible idea for townies and here's why. THE MAFIA KNOW WJOE ON THE MAFIA. They're more likely to vote round one because they having to lose from it. Theoretically speaking Mafia are probably more likely to cast the first vote(s) using "random"and "sheep voting" as an excuse. For townies the poutros of random voting are greatly outweighed by it's cons. It's too early in the game townies to look for a kill. Right now we need to prevent the loss of important roles like Katara .

I disagree with you. There is a higher chance that you can get a townie, but there is also a chance you can get a mafia if we work together and don't go around slinging accusations at each other willy nilly. I suppose youre right that random votes aren't a good idea, but i do feel that someone needs to die the first day regardless. If you're talking to them, you can see who they've been talking to themselves, and maybe that can give you a clue as to why they died. It's a necessary sacrifice. It's just a shame that this time the sacrifice had to be an important role...

While day one voting can be a bitch, it needs to be done. Every no vote day is a freebie for the mafia.

This is true, the mafia likes no vote days. If nobody votes, the mafia will still get their night kill which will kill one townie. There is a chance that we could lynch a mafia,but a chance that we could lynch a townie. Unfortunately, we had bad luck and a townie was eliminated. It's the sad truth.

i can't think of a time when round one voting has been successful. Katara is dead. someone will likely die tonight. However being able to get a mafia on the first day i great advantage. So i guess it's not round one voting that i don't like but RANDOM voting. which i why i never vote randomly. To me random voting is like playing chess with a blindfold. I like winning too much to gamble with power pieces.

Hey guys, I talked to Wassa and she said night phase was extended until tomorrow due to the massive power outage many of us are currently dealing with.

While this is all she said, I believe that this night phase will extend until most if not all people have power, as we don't want any roles to miss their chance to make an action because they didn't have power.

If Wassa tells me anymore I'll let you know. As of right now she has not seen any of the night action PM's so she can't even say what has happened thus far.

Yup, my sister got a chance to say it before I could, but my power is finally back on. I've elected to extend the night until tomorrow at noon (Monday the 2nd at 12 noon EST) to give those who may not have their power back yet a chance to get their power turned on and get back on.

For now Happy Canada Day, everyone! Also, Kimi I just realized that posting the phase change times and dates in EST is not very useful for you. Do you mind telling me your time zone so I can also post the time and date with you in mind?
